Monochrome Nightmare – The Home

She told me about how they had lived here until the others had come, and then how they had to leave suddenly. She was sure that they hadn’t escaped, that we would find what was left of them. I would have found that reassuring, what worried me more was that there would be no trace. She said that it had happened several times, and that we couldn’t stay here. We would have to leave as quickly as possible.
